harbord harlequins cup
The harlequins cup is one of the biggest gala days in Sydney for under 8s and under 9s.
The tournament will be structured in a pool format, where teams will compete within their respective pools. The top teams from each pool will advance to the semi-finals, followed by the grand finals, where the ultimate Harlequins cup winner will be determined.
Details
Following the pool matches, there will be two semi-final games leading up to the grand final. Each pool game, as well as the semi-finals and the final, will last for 15 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes allocated per game to accommodate breaks and injury time.
For gameplay specifics, the U8's will compete in 7 vs 7 matches, while the U9's will play in a 10 vs 10 format. It is required that visiting clubs provide Assistant Referees and Ground Marshalls to support the smooth running of the tournament. Additionally, all players must be registered with a current 2025 Rugby Xplorer player registration to participate.
For the U8 category, there is a maximum of 12 players per team, while the U9 category allows up to 15 players per team.
